WHAT IS THE 'GRAND REPAS'?
Le Grand Repas is a national culinary event that brings citizens together at the local level around the values of the meal. Once a year, the association Le Grand Repas invites citizens to share, on the same day, a unique menu per territory. Created by a local chef sponsor, these menus are based on local and seasonal products.
Initiated in 2016 in the Loire Valley region, Le Grand Repas is now extended to 13 territories. This initiative aims to be humanistic, popular, convivial but also to raise awareness. Indeed, Le Grand Repas is also an opportunity to raise citizens' awareness of the issues of anti-waste food, short circuits, history of products, education on taste, health and well-being.
CHEF THIERRY ENDERLIN, GODFATHER OF THE VAUCLUSE & GARD
Chef Thierry Enderlin is participating in the 2022 edition of the Grand Repas because he shares the "philosophy of pleasure around a meal, but also the implementation of a short circuit in partnership with suppliers and local producers.
On this occasion, discover a cuisine that combines the undergrowth and local vegetable gardens! Chef Thierry Enderlin's menu:
Butternut soup with chestnut slivers and small croutons.
Thyme-roasted free-range chicken stuffed with garlic bread, kale embeurrée with lardons, simple jus.
Caramel mille-feuille and roasted apples.
