He performs regularly at the legendary Magic Castle in Hollywood and appears on selected stages around the world.

Andreas Kern — portrait of an extraordinary artist

Born in Johannesburg and trained in piano in Cologne and Berlin under renowned masters such as Günter Ludwig and Pascal Devoyon, Andreas Kern has built his career on stages around the world — from Europe to Asia, from Canada to South Africa — both as a soloist and chamber musician.

From an early stage, he developed a distinctive vision of his art: one of classical music that is alive, open, and accessible to all. Driven by the desire to reach a broader and younger audience, he has created innovative concert formats, performed in unexpected venues, and crafted truly immersive listening experiences.

As the creator of the program Arte Lounge for Arte, he shares the stage with internationally acclaimed artists in an intimate and contemporary setting. He is also behind ambitious projects such as Piano City and the spectacular Piano Battle, which have captivated audiences across the globe.

Guided by the simple belief that there are countless ways to connect through music, Andreas Kern offers experiences where virtuosity meets closeness.
